What is a Contingency Fee?

A contingency fee is a percentage that is charged from the final settlement. Usually, the contingency fee is 33% or 40%. The Florida Bar governs the contingency fee a personal injury attorney may charge a client. This fee is collected from the defendant NOT our clients. We get paid only if we win a settlement for you. You pay us nothing.

If you have more questions, I suggest consulting with an experienced personal injury attorney.
